The Clark Memorial began to leak soon after it was completed. By 1939 it was determined that the waterproof membrane was not working and needed to be replaced. However, due to the cost of such a massive project the work was never completed. Until now…..a year long project will replace the damaged original waterproof membrane and will add other features to insure the building is kept dry. The Memorial is scheduled to re-open late summer. The visitors center is open for tours and admission is free.

It’s looking good!
