Are you searching for another activity for your family reunion or to entertain out-of-town guests?  Pick up our All-Sites Pass to visit our famous historic sites!  One price admits you to George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, Old Cathedral, Indiana Military Museum, Vincennes State Historic Sites, Grouseland and the Old French House.  The Indiana Military Museum will be opening April 1st.  Whether you are revisiting the roots of our past or seeing them for the first time, it’s a great deal!

Festival du Mardi Gras

The Festival du Mardi Gras will be held on Friday, February 17 and Saturday, February 18 at the Fort Nightly Club, 421 N. Sixth Street, Vincennes.  Creole/Cajun Musical entertainment on Friday by Dennis Stroughmatt from 6:30pm – 8:30pm (ET).  Musical feature for Saturday is Paul Gregoire and Roux du Bayou from 5:00pm – 10:00pm with dancing and authentic creole food and desserts.  *Tickets can be purchased the door of each event.   Come celebrate a traditional French Mardi Gras in Indiana’s oldest French settlement! Pickin’ and Grinnin’

Come out and experience the 12th Annual Old Post Bluegrass Jam this Sunday February 12th at the Vincennes University Student Union.  Enjoy FREE musical entertainment from 10:00am through 5:00pm (EDT).  A local favorite group, Mariah Creek performs at 1:00pm with Diamond Hill Station, Rocky Rhoads and The Hawf Family String band following.  Bring your acoustic instrument and jam with other musicians!  Food and beverages will be available and FREE parking on Third Street behind the Student Union.  See you there!

If not, there are two opportunities to support local organizations and have a great evening.  Enjoy Valentine’s Day 1920’s style hosted by the Vincennes State Historic Sites at Adams Coliseum.  The evening will features Italian food by Procopios, music and a murder mystery.  To purchase tickets contact the State Sites at 812.882.7422.  If the 1920’s isn’t your thing, how about the 50’s and 60’s?  The Think Pink charity fund of the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center will present “A Night of Diamonds.”  The evening will feature a cocktail hour, dinner and music by the internationally acclaimed group The Diamonds.  Tickets can be purchased at any local Old National Bank.  Love is in the air!
