Six More Weeks of Winter

If you haven’t heard, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow yesterday which means we will see 6 more weeks of winter!  To help beat the winter blues we have put together 10 things to do in Knox County in the cold weather.

Bundle up and get moving on the trails at Fox Ridge Nature Park or on the newly opened Riverwalk.

Grab a friend and go sample wine at our local winery, Windy Knoll.

Feed your creative side by attending the First Friday Artwalk in downtown Vincennes.

Brush up on your local history at the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, Vincennes State Historic Sites, Grouseland and the Indiana Military Museum.

Attend a Free Funny Film at the Red Skelton Museum.  Check their website for schedule and movie line-up, http://redskeltonmuseum.org/events-view

Go on a treasure hunt at one of our local antique shops, Riverwalk Antiques or Shakers Landing.

Feed your sweet tooth at Charlie’s Caramel Corn and Candy Shop.

Warm up with a good book in the sun room at the Knox County Library.

Get some retail therapy by shopping downtown Main Street.

Take your family or meet up with a friend and dine out at one of our locally owned restaurants.

Check our website calendar to stay up to date on upcoming events,  http://www.vincennescvb.org/events/2017/02/3
