With cooler temperatures back, it is a good time to warm you up with some good old fashioned comfort food.  Knox County has many options for comfort food.  Here is a list to get you started…

Dogwood BBQ – offers smoked pork and chicken as well as an Amish style food buffet.

Dot’s – offers plate lunch specials daily including Meatloaf, Beef Manhattan, Chicken and Noodles and more.  In addition they have a full menu of sandwiches, soup and salads.

Montana Mike’s – If meat is your comfort food of choice Mike’s has you covered.  Offering a complete menu of beef, pork, chicken and seafood,  add a side of mashed potatoes and you are all set.

The Melon Patch Delish Deli – just up Highway 41, the Melon Patch has daily hot lunch specials including Ham and Beans complete with cornbread as well as their salad and sandwich menu.
