“Climbing, Clinging, and Grabbing” Nature Walk
Some plants need to reach the sunlight by climbing up other plants or obstacles. During the “Climbing, Clinging, and Grabbing” nature walk, Terri Talarek King, master naturalist, will lead a casual walk to look for these plants and see how they accomplish the task. Join in on the fun happening August 12th!
Participants will be using Trail 7 at Ouabache Trails Park. You will first explore the wetland area and then an upland portion, which include some steep slopes. Magnifiers and insect repellent are recommended.
All ages are welcome! There is no registration fee for this event. Meet at 2:00pm at the Sacajawea Shelter House!
