"We need your Voice"

Good Samaritan Hospital and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are asking Vincennes to "make your voice heard" on a decision facing Americans about the H1N1 (Swine flu) vaccine. The CDC is asking for public discussion, deliberation and input in regard to availability, immunization, and implementation of a vaccination program. Space is limited and registration is required for participation; any individual attending must be able to atend the meeting for the entire day. This program is on Saturday, August 15 and begins at 9:00am at the Indiana Center for Applied Techonology on the Vincennes University campus at 1500 N. Chestnut Street. "Bark in the Park" - Gregg Park, Vincennes

Blazer 91.1 WVUB, Invisible Fence and the Vincennes Parks Department is presenting "Bark in the Park" on Saturday, July 11 at Gregg Park in Vincennes from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Activities for the event include: Dog/Owner Look-Alike Contest; Vincennes Pet Port Parade of Adoptable Dogs, Cutest Dog Contest and more! Important Information: all dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and must wear rabies tags/id tags are recommended; no aggressive breeds or dogs in "heat"; dogs must be on a leash at all times; maximum of 1 dog per person and owner of the dog must be present; please clean up after your dog...bags available throughout the park; please remind children to ask permission before approaching strange dog and to use caution; we reserve the right to turn away dogs. Vendors will be on location, a $500 gift certification will be given away from Invisible Fence and admission is free.
